Pew Research published the results of an international survey on perceptions of artificial intelligence. The study involved 42 151 people from 37 countries; the survey was conducted from 8 February to 13 May.

In 34 out of 37 countries, respondents were more likely to believe that AI will lead to job cuts over the next 20 years. Most participants also perceived AI as a threat to human employment.

These data are significant as an indicator of public expectations, but not as a forecast of actual job numbers. The submitted material lacks details on methodology, the distribution of responses by country, and other survey results.
