NVIDIA researchers introduced SoL-Pi, a set of four mechanisms for the open tool Pi, designed for programming. According to MarkTechPost, these mechanisms were discovered using automated research loops tested in 535 environments.
In the EdgeBench test, SoL-Pi reduced token traffic by 44,7–49%, and API costs by approximately 33%. At the same time, the result retained about 94% of Pi's performance on GPT-5.6 Sol and Opus 5.
