Google DeepMind has announced the release of new Gemini models, including Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber. These models are reportedly designed for various tasks, including improving efficiency and enhancing cybersecurity. In particular, the 3.6 Flash model may use up to 65% fewer tokens, which could improve its performance.

Despite these innovations, the expected Gemini 3.5 Pro version, which was anticipated to be a flagship model, has not yet been released. This may raise questions about why Google has not introduced this model, especially considering that other companies, such as OpenAI and Anthropic, are actively developing their models at the forefront of technology.
