The UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) has conducted trials of new unmanned aerial vehicle technologies. This work was carried out in partnership with the British Army, industry representatives, and international allies.

The primary objective of the testing was to develop artificial intelligence capabilities for application on future battlefields. The data obtained is directed toward integrating autonomous systems into the next generation of combat operations.

Information regarding these activities was published by the Government of the United Kingdom as an example of developing defense potential through the adoption of advanced digital solutions.
